Frank Iero and MCR

Oh My God, i just found out Frank and his wife are going to be having twins later this year, how freaking cool. it's about time that MCR had something good happen. as frank has recently posted on a blog on their site

"Last, but certainly not least, I am proud to announce the addition of two new members to the MCR extended family. Recently, my wife and I found out we will be having twins later on this summer. I cannot express in words how happy this makes us, it seems everything’s turning up Milhouse. I just can’t wait to meet the little ones, and may God have mercy on the world now that there will be 2 more Ieros wreaking havoc on the earth."

Among the excellent news that there will be two mini-Frankie's running around and causing mischief, the new album by the band is doing "swimmingly". personally i cant wait for new stuff by MCR, they are apparently going back to the sound they had on "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" and "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love". i'm super excited to hear what they've been working on.

some revelations of the year so far.

so far this year has been interesting, one of the best surprises ive had are that avenged sevenfold are recording their new album, but some of the surprises i've had were out of the blue, eg, Bob Bryar and My Chemical Romance parting ways, someone tried to tell me he'd been fired, but i think it had to do with a pretty seriouse wrist/ arm injury. all i know is it's sad, first gerard getting sick and now bob leaving. but i also happened to knotice that two of my fave bands have had issues to do with the drummer. probably just a coincedense.

another surprise i had this year so far is that i realised that strangely enough, of all my friends, i seem to be the only one with no interest of setteling down, and yeah, i'm only twenty, but a lot of my friends have either bought places with their boyfriends/fiance's, or they're having babies. sure i want kids eventually, but at twenty, i know i'm still a kid, i'm not ready to get married, have kids, and honestly, the whole white picket fence deal has absolutly no appeal to me, but you know what does? Travel. i want to trevel to America, Rome, England, France.

honestly, when my friends ask what i see for the futer, it isnt kid's and it isnt marrige, it's travel, and they just cant seem to understand why. most of the girls i know seem to think having kids early is the way to go but i'm all for witing till i'm twenty eight. besides, i can help them raise their kids. well, we'll see, i cant say what the future holds but for now, travel is definatly something on my horizon.

Soundwave 2010

ok, so it's been almost a week since soundwave but i just had to post how freaking amazing it was. Shinedown and Escape The Fate were definatly the highlight of my day. the bands i got to see were AFI, Him, All Time Low, Paramore, Eagle's of Death Metal, Anti Flag, Placebo, Creepshow, Shinedown and Escape The fate. i ended up with pretty bad heatstroke, to the point i was throwing up, but i wouldnt change the experiance for the world. this was my second time attending Soundwave, and if youv'e never been, it's one thing you have to do.

one thing that makes it a bit difficult is the fact the days get up towards 40oc heat. i watched a girl get dragged from the moshpit unconciouse because she overheated, and one of my group had to go home with severe heat stroke, so water is a massive must. i seriously cant wait for next years Soundwave, ive got my fingers crossed for Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet For My Valentine to play.
